Outlook profiles?

I am trying to create a separate mail capability for my wife so she can send and receive emails on her own. I have created a new profile, I may have not done so correctly. When one of these profiles are opened all the emails open within the opened profile. I would like the emails to open within the profile designated????? Can someone help?

This will only work if the email addresses are unique, which usually means
they have individual passwords, and I would assume you only set up 'her'
account.
If yours is a catchall all account it wont work

Thanks DL for responding.
I had my profile set up first.
How do I make our email addresses unique?
Do I have to subscribe for an additional email address?
How do I set up my account so it is not a catchall account?
Appreciate any advise, sorry for my ignorance.

You cannot, yourself, create unique addresses, this is down to your ISP, see
their help pages on additional email accounts

I am trying to do the same thing. My ISP told me to contact Microsoft for
guidance in setting up another profile. I have no idea how to do that. In
fact, I was told to contact my ISP again after the profile is set up. Does
anyone know how to set up another profile? Thanks

Use the Mail applet in the control panel, with outlook closed, it should be
self explanatory - you set up the new Profile, add a new data file, add &
test the mail account(s), set it to prompt for Profile

DL, I appreciate your responding.
I have tried at least 20 times to set up an additional second email.
What is and how does one set up a new data file?
In "E-maill Address:" does my email address go here?
In "User Name:" Do I make up a new name or enter my user Name?
In "Password:" Do Imake up a new password or do I use my password?
Please, I'm quite dense! Thank You.

You add the new data file
The other account items are those supplied by your ISP (Internet Service
Provider), as is the smtp & pop settings, assuming you are using pop mail
