Outlook process does not ended after I exit outlook

I recently installed Office 2007 on XPP, on ThinkPad T60 and have this
problem blocking me using Outlook:
Each time openning Outlook, there is always error "...Data file not saved
properly last time,....". Then after few e-mail reading, I even cannot open
item, getting error "Cannot open this item. Errors have been detected in the
file *\outlook.ost, Quit Outlook and all mail-enable applications, and then
use th Inbox repair tool (Scanpst.exe) to diagnose and repair errors inthe
file...". After Quit Outlook and scaning *.ost file using Scanpst.exe, this
will come back, again!
I found the Outlook.exe was not ended, even I quit Outlook. Could this be
problem and how to fix it?

Thanks!

Some common reasons why Outlook will not shut down completely when you click either the X or Exit:

1. PDA synchronization software with your PDA in the cradle.
2. WinFax Pro (especially 10.02 in Outlook 2003) - contact their support for an alleged fix.
3. Franklin-Covey Plan Plus!
4. COM Add-ins.
5. Mail reminder add-ins that keep a stub of Outlook open in the background to check for new mail and fire reminders.
6. Anti-virus/firewall programs that are set to scan incoming and outgoing mail.
