outlook pop up when minimized! why?

A

Adolf

i have outlook 2003

when i minimize outllok and than i check checkbox "hide when minimized" then
outlook hides in tray...the problem is that send/receive progressbar shows
up every 5 minutes when outlook checks for mail....but that it stays on
desktop....is that a bug or what?

i dont wanna see that pop up when the outlook is hidden in tray

it has to do something with "hide when minimized" function, because if i
uncheck it, that everything is fine, but than it is not hidden in
tray....but also than there is no annoying popup

can anyone please help me

someone said that the problem is solved in later builds...what does that
mean? i tried to update my office but i have all updates installed

thx for any info

Go to Tools-> Send/Receive-> Send/Receive Settings-> Show Progress...

Here check the option Don't show this dialog...

Also make sure your Check Mail settings is every 10
minutes or more. Less than that causes problems.
