Outlook Personal Folder Backup

The Backup option doesn't come up on my Outlook 'File' command. When I
downloaded and tried to install the Backup programme, a message came up that
it's already installed and I should remove the current version via Control
Panel.

I've done that - but it still seems to think there's a version installed,
and I can't get past this.

Any suggestions welcome!

I am having the same issue with my Personal Folder Backup. The issue arose
when my support folks recreated my profile on my laptop. Most things
returned as operational but this did not. When I tried to reinstall the
program (since the backup option no longer shows in my file menu) I get the
same message: "Setup has detect that you already have a version of Personal
Folders Backup installed on this machine. Before this download can be
installed you must first uninstall the previous version. To uninstall,
please answer yest to the next question." (note the typo :) ) It then asks:
"Are you sure you want to uninstall this product?" - click the yes button -
then I get an error message: "This action is only valid for products that are
currently installed." - then a setup error message appears: "To install this
download, please uninstall the previous version of Personal Folders Backup
using the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel." - The program does not appear
in the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel - Can anyone tell us how to manually
remove the traces of the previously installed version so the program can be
reinstalled?
