Outlook or Word Inquiry?? Re: The "Introduction screen" sending em

We are writing School Class/Course Ads, in Word, sent through Outlook.
When we go to: File, Send to, Mail Recipient

1/2 the time a VERY HANDY "Introduction" Screen appears (below the Subject
Box)
[the outlook email box reads: To: CC: BCC: Subject: and then the
Introduction Box pops up below the Subject box]

Problem: We can't always get this Introduction Screen to appear and I have
to keep repurposing the original schedule. For the life of me we cannot find
anyone who knows how to fix/help, I can't even zero in on if it's an Outlook
issue or a Word issue...anyone?

The feature you're using is part of Word (and Excel, and OneNote). I have never seen the Introduction text block not appear. Perhaps sometimes you're choosing not Mail Recipient but Mail Recipient (As Attachment).

Hi Sue, Thanks for letting me know that it's part of Word. When we are
creating these ads in Word we don't mail them as an attachment because too
many times they are filtered out as spam. The odd thing is I seem to be the
only one in the office who GETS the Introduction screen. I am on XP and the
others are on 2000 so I don't know if that makes a difference or not....I'll
do some more searching....
In word (once the ad is created, I'm hitting File, Send To, Mail Recipient
that's when the To, CC Bcc comes up for everyone else...I "sometimes" get the
introduction screen...sometimes not. So...for now, we're saving and
repurposing ads....but that's a little nuts...however, when writing to
someone, it's definitely nice to be able to do that little introduction
without having to go into the document each time and change the top. Thanks
Vickie
