Outlook OPENS and CLOSES

Hi guys!
I have just installed Office 2003 here and all office products work fine, but my OUTLOOK
opens for about two seconds and then closes.
Does anyone know what could be doing this?
I am using outlook express as a main e-mail program, but would like to try OUTLOOK for a
change.

Hi,

Possibly a corrupt .pst file or the program installation is damaged. If you
could keep the program open long enough I would recommend you click
Help/Detect and Repair. Otherwise, run a repair installation by inserting
the Office2003 CD and starting setup (repair will be one of the options).

Try running Scanpst.exe, which is native to all Windows or at lest MS
Office installations. You will have to make a search for it, as it is
not alwyas in the same place.
