Outlook on desktop and laptop

I have Outlook installed and working on the desktop. If I move the pst files
to the shared folder, can I access Outlook from the laptop?

Yes, Outlook will let you open PST files on a shared network drive.
However, keep in mind that Microsoft does not support using PST files
located on a shared network drive. The reasons is that it can introduce
slowness and data corruption.

To amplify what neo said, it's not "can" introduce corruption, it WILL
corrupt.
The best answer is to change your account to an IMAP account if your ISP
will allow.

"Network PST files" are unsupported by Microsoft and could corrupted your
PST files.

the PST at any given time.
