Outlook not sending e mail

I set up to receive my yahoo mail to outlook which works fine, but when I
send my e mails to others, they don't get delivered.
They stay in "mail to send" folder, and when I close the outlook office, the
box shows up asking me "there are 8 mails to send, would like to close
without sending them?" (something like that), but even if I waited the time
period it tells me, nothing changes....

How do I fix this?

There really is a folder named "mail to send"? If so, it isn't
something that Outlook created.

Tried disabling e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program yet?
