Outlook not saving PW for accounts

Using Microsoft Office 2002 with Vista Home edition.

Just started using it today and have run across an unusual quirk.

I have set up Outlook to handle both my wifes and my email accounts at the
same time.

When I set up the accounts I put in the PW and checked the "Remember PW" box
on both accounts.

Every time I load Outlook it asks me for the PW.

As long as Outlook is running it is fine after that.

If I close the program and come back and reopen it it asks me for the
account PW, eventhough they are still in there in the Account set up.

What is going on here and how do I stop this from happening??
