I have Outlook 2007 and Windows XP. When i try to access the To Do pane or
Task pane, outlook freezes and i must exit and re open. I have already
disabled all add-ins, including Business Contact Manager, which i intend on
reinstalling.
What else do i need to do?
Thanks
Nanci

I'm having a similar issue. While in Task View, if I'm viewing just a task
folder I'm fine. However, if I switch to the "To Do List" under My Tasks
Outlook hogs up all my memory and I have to force it closed.

Has anyone found a solution to this?

If it's not the exact same issue, start your own thread.

Have you tried starting outlook once with the /resettodobar command switch?

So far that has worked. I've even noticed the "searching bar" (the orange
dancing line above the to-do list) is gone. We'll see how long this lasts.

How do i start with the /resettodobar command switch?

Click Start>Run. In the Open field, enter

outlook.exe /resettodobar

Be sure to include the space. Click OK.

Does this remove/erase all my tasks and to dos?
