Outlook making winmail.dat..?

Hi,
my troubel is that when I send atachments (jpg's, text or whatever) outlook
sometimes change the format to winmail.dat. I also have friends that receive
these atachments.
I can see that outlook places the atachment in the e-mail-text rather than
on an atachment line when I make a new e-mail. when I answer an e-mail it
normaly has an atachment line and the atachments gets placed there...

anybody know what to do?

Set the format to Plain Text rather than Rich Text or HTML.
