Outlook login

I use Outlook express for one email account and regular Outlook for business
related email address. Outlook (version yr 2000) requires me to login after
opening, prior to sending/receiving emails. I really want to turn this off.
This all on my home pc and the security of logging in is not needed. Thanks

Maybe you are using dial-up. Dial-up requires you to login.
Configure your dial-up connectoid to remember the login credentials.

Maybe you are talking about a password-protected .pst file. You will
get prompted for that password everytime you load the .pst file (i.e.,
when you start Outlook). If you don't want that prompt, remove the
password from the .pst file.

Maybe you are asking about the login credentials for your e-mail
account. Make sure the checkbox to remember your login credentials is
selected in that prompt window so they get used for the next mail
session between Outlook and your mail host.
