Outlook locked up

Open in from within Outlook.
Start Outlook and click File>Open>Outlook Data File. Browse to the folder
where you find the PST, select it, and click OK.

Thanks for your efforts too Brian, BUT I have gone where you said to go and
done what you say to do - many many times and there is NO "Outlook Data
File". When I click on open, it gives me two choices: 1. Selected Items and
2. Personal Folders file (.pst). When I click on #2 it opens a window that
appears like an Explorer window and the folder it opens to is for "My
Documents". Browsing, I found a folder called "Documents and Settings", I
clicked on that and found my folder "Jack Hopper", I clicked on that. I then
found the folder "Application Data", clicked on that and found the folder
"Microsoft", Clicked on that, found a folder called "Outlook", clicked on
that and found "outlook.pst" When I clicked on that, it asked me for a
program to run it. I right clicked and that was wherer I was able to compress
the file. I just tried to recreate the above again and when I got to the
folder "Outlook" and clicked on it, the "outlook .pst" file was no longer
there.

I have clicked on everything you can click on in Outlook and there is NO,
"File>Open>Outlook Data File. Browse to the folder where you find the PST,
select it, and click OK." It just isn't there!!!!!!!! There is NO "Outlook
Data File"!!!

Again, I appreciate the efforts but I have a convoluted version of Outlook
evidently.

I guess we have given up on this problem. Well, thanks for the attempt
anyway. Have a Merry Christmas!

Click on Open where? In what menu? Using what application?
