I have a user who uses Outlook to its limits. She has open 10 other
manager's mailboxes and has access to 30+ other calendars. At any given time
she can touch 7 different exchange servers within our Organization.
Almost daily her Outlook will quit on her. Sometimes she get's error
messages, sometimes she gets nothing. The ususal error is the Microsoft
Visual C++ Runtime Library error. (We use McAfee) Sometimes she gets a
Spooler SubSystem App error. Sometimes she gets a Microsoft Word is set to
be your e-mail editor. However, Word is unavailable, not installed, or is
not the same version as Outlook. Her Word is the same version, and it was
usually working a few minutes prior to this error????
We have tried everything we can think of - we have read pretty much all of
your posts, but have not been able to solve this issue. We turned off her
Exchange Scan in Add-ins. We have tried disabling the McAfee Antiphishing
filter. We have done countless detect and repairs. We have uninstalled and
reinstalled the Standard Microsoft Package.
Are there any other suggestions? Again, this is almost daily that this
happens to her.
