Outlook keeps sending messages

I have a friend that is running Outlook 2007 and it keeps coming up on the
bottom that it is sending 1 of x mails. There is nothing in the outbox and we
disabled the autosend. It keeps trying every couple of minutes then timeouts
by the server.
What is it trying to send and how do I get it to stop. He is worried it is
trying to send private information of his clients.

How many mail accounts is in the profile? If he has the same number, it’s a
counting bug in Outlook.
