Outlook keeps freezing, closes and then re-opens, help????

I have had this issue for about one month now, and usually only occurs when
trying to send an email or something. I have tried re-installing outlook and
also changing the name of the file from .old to .new.

Any other ideas before I have to trash this laptop and have to re-install
all my programs to my new work one??

Hi,
please try to run scanpst.exe first!
