outlook is unable to display items in my inbox

Outlook is not displaying items in inbox. As I start it up I get unable to
display a floder message. I tried to reinstall outlook, restart it - nothing
works. Any advice?

Version of Outlook is?
Some add-ins have caused this problem. In particular Adobe seems to be a
culprit. Try disabling any suspect add-ins and, in particular, Adobe
add-ins.
