Outlook is not responding

[Need help for Outlook 2003]

While opening my outlook I get the note that " Microsoft Outlook is not
responding "

Can you instruct me 'please, what should I do in order to correct the problem?

Does Outlook load okay if you start it in its safe mode ("outlook.exe
/safe")? That will NOT load any add-ons which normally get loaded when
Outlook gets started (and unloaded when Outlook exits).
