Outlook is hung sending a message. Can't cancel it.

I tried to cancel sending a message and Outlook now appears to be permanently
hung up trying to send it. If I go to Outbox and try to open the file, it
tells me that Outlook has already started sending it. That was yesterday and
I've been on the road and shut down and re-botted from new location. How do
I clear it?

Go to start-run and type the following

outlook /safe


Delete the message. It may be too big of a file to send.
