Outlook is "always on top"

Raindance

My Outlook 03 is all of the sudden "always on top". Meaning that I have to
minimize Outlook to see any of my other programs on my desk top, as it does
not go behind them as it usually would. I am sure I have bumped a setting
somewhere to make it do this. Does anyone know where that setting is so I can
change it back?

Double-click Outlook title bar to de-maximize the program. A maximized
application will behave as you describe. Secondly, you could have
deactivated the always on-top feature of your Windows taskbar.
Right-click anywhere in the empty area of your taskbar, choose
properties, then "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows".

I am suddenly having this problem as well, and my window is not maximized nor is the "Keep the taskbar on top of other Windows" box unchecked. Does anyone know how to fix this? It is very annoying to have to minimize every time I want to switch over to a different window. Even when I click new mail the compose window opens behind the main window so I have to minimize it.

In case anyone else has this problem, I finally found this thread that helped me fix my problem
(Apparently I'm not allowed to post the link because I don't have enough posts on here...but if you copy and paste this into Google you should be able to find the page.):
"techtalkz.com/microsoft-outlook/138776-new-mail-window-always-top"

This might be helpful too in running the command that the above link recommends:
"office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/command-line-switches-HP001003110"
(Again...you'll have to copy/paste/Google it...)

Super easy and it fixed my problem immediately. Hope this helps!
