Outlook Imap option

I currently have an email account with small business officelive, using a
purchased domain. I was instructed to use Outlook connecetor to download my
officelive emails to Outlook 2007.

I don't like the fact that my email account does not fall under the personal
folder section. It's as though I have three different inboxes..I want my
email to download directly to the personal folder inbox. Is this possible?

No, as the Office Live account is a 2-way sync, it will require its own
folder set. I'm not sure how you count 3 Inboxes here, but if you have an
additional POP3 account, you can set it to deliver its mail into your Office
Live account. Note that all data will be synced back to the Office Live
account as well. If your additional accounts are IMAP, then you are out of
luck as IMAP is a 2-way sync protocol as well so it requires its own folder
set too.

Thanks Roady
"You hit the nail on the head", I have multiple accounts-that's where the
three came in. Not to mention, you answered my question, two-way sync.

I wish there was a better way. I have noticed that some of the outlook
options do not allow you to use certain tools with imap accounts.....such as
the display option. I am forced to create a rule...oh well.

You're welcome! :)

Note that the Outlook Connector isn't an IMAP connection but uses a protocol
on its own. Or are you saying your other accounts are IMAP? ;-)
