Outlook hanging

Is anyone else suffering with Outlook hanging? Outlook has become very
unresponsive, it dous not stopresponding completely but hangs for up to 30
seconds at a time then will run for a few seconds, then hang again. Any
suggestions, other than scrap it?

Undoubtably, but not as a matter of course.

You have a connection issue on your PC, but there are not enough details
(like Outlook version, account type, and so on) for anyone to help you
diagnose the problem.

Outlook 2003, POP/SMTP e-mail. Everything was working fine and was for
several months. I do a regular purge of old e-mails, so the pst file not too
big. I am also running McAfee Antivurus (version 10) and Spamkiller but
dsablin gthes does not make any difference. No errors in the system log...

Enable diagnostic logging in Outlook and see if something shows there.
