Outlook freezing pc.

a users PC freezes when trying to send a document from word as an attachment
to an e-mail recipient. I have looked at this and it seems to be that
outlook is not closing down correctly and that there always seems to be two
processes running within the task manager. Once i stop the process it works
fine, but only for the first time, any ideas? We are using Outlook 2003.

Interesting in the fact that I am working currently with someone with the
same issue.

Though I have done the following it did not work it may work for you. Have
you ran a detect and repair and/or reinstalled the program? Also make sure
that all the updates have beend one on your system. If the issue still
persist the profile itself may be corrupted and I would create a new profile
to see if it resolves the issue. Finally are you using Cache mode?
