Outlook freezes

Hello to all,

Lately my Outlook 2003 doesn't start correctly, it freezes when inbox opens,
sometimes it doesn't even start the inbox and freezes, all i have left is
open Task Manager and terminate the app. Tried to repair Office 2003
installation but to no good. Checked Windowsupdate and there aren't any
updates available for Outlook 2003. Since my Outlook 2003 freezes since the
beginning i can't even check which version of 2003 i have. What would you
experts suggest?? any advice???

Try deleteling the file %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\outcmd.dat and then
start Outlook.

Also tried to create a new profile from Control Panel and still outlook
freezes and still doesn't respond, i can't create a profile from Control
Panel, Do you recommend to unninstall and reinstall all Office 2003?? is
there an app to backup all my Outlook data before i continue with
unninstallation?? if so, is there a free or trial software for this backup
that would let me make this backup??

Thanks in advance,

JR.
