Outlook freezes at the following situation

Hi,

Working with Outlook 2007, Windows Vista Ultimate (Kaspersky AV in the backgrund).

When Outlook in the middle of send/receive operation, if I dare to touch the software, it will freeze - almost always.
I am able only to forcefully end it, and restart it.

Only active addon are: kaspersky, windows search index, and mobile phone service in MS Outlook.

Any ideas how to resolve it?

Disable Kaspersky's integration. Virus scanners are a known cause software
causing send/receive issues.
