Outlook - Forwarded messages marked as "read"

Marc

My emails are automatically forwarded to my iPhone. When this occurs,
Outlook then marks the emails as "read," even though I haven't read them.
Organizationally, this presents a problem, as I can't go through my emails
and note the ones that I have not responded to. I need help!!!! Thanks.

It's a limitation of the forwarding process and happens when you forward
mail using rules. You'd need to get the messages from the mail server before
outlook gets them.

Diane - thanks for your reply. Can my IT person create this modification so
that emails are received in this order?

Possibly. What type of mail account? Are you using Exchange Active Sync or
another method to forward to the iphone?
