outlook forms

I have set up a new contact folder with a new "form". If I add a new contact
to this folder the correct form comes up. If I try to import a cvs file that
has all the information that is in my new form it will not work. The import
functions defaults to the standard "outlook 2003 conotact form" for mapping.

How do I get my new form to show up for mapping my imported file in this
contact folder.

Outlook doesn't support importing to a custom form. You'd have to write
custom code or use a third-party application. See
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/customimport.htm.

FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for Outlook forms issues "down the
hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms or, via web interface, at
http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...spx?dg=microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms

will it work to import the contacts then change the form they imported items
use?
