Outlook Express

Poppa Kilo

HI!

I installed a new hard drive on my computer, and I have
Windows ME, but I would like to copy (move, import,
export, whatever) my Outlook Express Addresses and Folders
from the old hard drive to the new hard drive. I can get
around in Windows Explorer, relatively well, and have
moved my Favorites, and have located Identities, but I'm
just not sure how to go about moving Addresses and Folders
(email addresses, saved email, etc.) from the old hard
drive to the new hard drive.

I have Outlook Express created on the new hard drive, the
account set up, and have created all of the Identities,
but I just don't feel confident of how to go about getting
the Addresses and Folders from the old drive to the new
drive. The new drive is the primary hard drive (C), and
the old hard drive is the secondary hard drive (D).
Therefore, I have access to all data on both hard drives.

I have moved other files and folders, that didn't pose and
challenge, nor did the Favorites, I'm just not sure about
moving the Email Addresses and Folders.

Your help would be immensely appreciated.

Thanks ever so much,

Poppa Kilo

microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgr...blic.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress

If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups). The links under the newsgroup
references are for use with MS's web newsreader (not exactly the best way to
post but it works for some people)
