Go back to your XP system, and export the mail fom OE, then copy that to a
specific directory. Do the same for your addresses. Also, in OE, go to
Tools, Accounts, click on your mail account and choose Export. This will
create an IAF file, and copy it as well. .
Copy all those files to a CD or make it available on a network to the VIsta
system. If it's on CD, you'll need to copy the contents of the CD to the
hard disk as they can't be read-only for the next step.
First, import the IAF file into Windows Mail. Then, import the mail, via
File, Import, Outlook Express - point this to the folder with the DBX files.
Finally, import the address book.
