outlook express

I am running windows xp and using outlook express. I have bought a new
computer and it came with an office program called "Open Office org." Now
when I get a file attachement in outlook express, the only way I can open it
is with this office program. The attachements come as a pps. file. I do not
like the way the attachements are viewed in this program. Is there any way I
can change this?

Yes with folder options..

1.. In My Computer or Windows Explorer, click the Tools menu, click Folder
Options, and then click the File Types tab.
2.. In the Registered file types list, click the file type you want to
open with a different program, and then click Change.
3.. In the Open With dialog box, select the program you want to use, and
then click OK.
4.. Click OK in the Folder Options dialog box.
