I am unable to open attachments from a known safe source
as a message appears saying,"OE removed access to the
following unsafe atachments in your mail". I know the
attachments are safe. How can I open these attachments
and/or set the level to a lower settng to allow these
attachments to be opened? Thanks for any help.

In OE select "Tools, Options, then Security tab." There you may uncheck the approprite checkbox.
