outlook express to outlook

I purchased a new computer with outlook. My old PC only has office express
on it.
I wish to transfer messages and contacts from express to outlook. The web
help says I need a pc with both express and outlook on it, but I don't have
one that has both on it. How do I transfer from express to outlook?
Thanks

If your PC comes with Windows it comes with Outlook Express (Windows Mail in
Vista) even when you install Microsoft Office Outlook on it afterwards.
These are completely separate programs so they can run side by side.

There is an Outlook Express icon in the Start Menu-> All Programs section by
default.

<sigh> have you done ANY research about this? Have you looked at the
