Outlook Express to Outlook 2003

I would like to upgrade from Outlook Express to Outlook 2003. I have been
told that Outlook 2003 will not accept attachments with certain file
extensions such as .exe and there are no option settings to get around it.
Is this true?

No, it's not true. But Outlook is NOT an upgrade from Outlook Express.
They're complete separate applications. You can run them both on the same
machine if you want.
