Outlook Express Problem

Whenever I open my outlook express a logon box comes up with my user
and password prefilled and when I click ok it leaves, then pops up
again and again and when I try to read an email it will popup up and
take me back to my email list, or if I click tools to get accounts or
options it pops up and the menu will vanish. Please tell me how to get
rid of this box for good-I didn`t used to be bothered with it.
Thank You.

Hi James,
Check the user name and the password settings in the OE. Go to
Tools->Accounts->Email account properties -> Servers. Make sure that you have
the correct user name and the pwd. Your user name shld not have the "@domain
name". Make sure that you have a check mark in "Remember password". If you
still have the problem, delete the email account and recreate the outlook
email account If you do that your emails will not be lost. Byee...

If this is a problem that has happened to a set-up that used to work, and
you haven't been messing around with the set-up on your computer, contact
your ISP and outline the problem to them. I have had it happen that my
account got messed up when the ISP did maintenance on their system....worth
a try.
