Outlook Express - Not Responding

I can open Outlook Express, receive & send emails, but when I go to close the
program I get the message "The program is not responding". After sending an
error report to Microsoft, their reply was to download "Windows Defender"
program. I did this, ran scan, & it said computer was running normal. I have
BitDefender virus protection & it's says everything is ok. I can restore back
to a week & it runs fine for a couple days, then right back to not responding
at close. Anybody have any suggestions, appreciate it.

how many mails do you have in your folders, if you have heavily-lane
attachment emails or lots of regular emails, it can hang.

It can be a few other things, please let me know

I thought about that one too. I cleaned out all but two emails. Restarted
computer. Checked program & still done the same problem.
