Outlook express included with windows XP

Is there a way of removing Outlook express from a pc with
windows XP pro? there is no uninstallation that i can
find anywhere and if you delete the directory in program
files is simply creates it again, presumably from a
backup somewhere.

If you open up Add or Remove Programs, on the left side
you will see a button titled Add/Remove Windows
Components, the option is in there
