outlook express cannot send emails!

Michael Harrington

I get the following error from sending emails from outlook
on my PC. Windows 98 OE. I have tried changing my settings
but nothing works. I have tested the account works by
setting up the email account on a different PC with full
OUTLOOK and windows XP. No problems. So why will the same
settings not work on OE Windows 98!

I used the same STMP on both PC's smtp.freeserve.com

the error is this for all emails
"The message could not be sent because one of the
recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail
address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'test only
from Michael', Account: 'mail.ic24.net',
Server: 'smtp.freeserve.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server"
Response: '550 Administrative prohibition', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number:
0x800CCC79

It's at the left, under Internet Technologies>Internet Explorer x.x, where
"x.x." is your version of IE. You can also find it here:
if you use IE6.
