Outlook express accounts

I've just had XP Home installed on a new hard drive.
I set up my dial up account using the connection
wizard which works fine, but the connection wizard keeps
appearing when I start up outlook. When I click cancel
it disappears but leaves a new account set up and all my
page layout changes have gone and I've got the welcome
email back again! Does anyone know what's going on?

Did you make Outlook your default email program then? Is
your email account an msn or pop3 or aol? Http? Imap?
Or Other? Did you find it necessary to contact your local
ISP about the dailup settings?

Yes, it's my default email programme, and is a POP3
account. I previously had outlook 6 on wins 98 and I used
the same settings.
