I was using my regular email account with att.com and there was a little icon
and i accidentally pressed it and all of the sudden all the mails in the
inbox vanished and went into the outlook express installed in my computer.
and i do not want to use outlook express. How can i undo this action. and how
can i block other users who use same computer from getting into my email
account? Please help me asap.

You should specify which version of MS Outlook you are using, and which
version of Windows.

You should be able ot import the messages from MS Outlook Express to MS
Outlook; possibly even export them.

If you have Windows XP, you can create user accounts, with passwords. That
is the only reliable way to keep other users out of your mailbox. Doesn't
work with Windows 98, or Windows Me.

Remove your account from Outlook Express. You can also remove access to it
under Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs->windows components.
