Outlook Outlook Express 6 Send/Receive dialog hangs

Hello all.

My mother has a new pc and, I'm sure, Outlook Express 6. It actually works fine, but, mysteriously, her Send/Receive dialog pop up, activated when the button is clicked on, hangs after the program has sent and received. I am not terribly computer savvy, but I'm not helpless either. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get that dialog to disappear automatically the way mine does. We'll live with it if we have to. But you'd be surprised how annoying that is!

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Solution!

Thanks to some friends at work, I now know how to get that dialog box to disappear automatically. There's a tiny push pin icon in the bottom right hand corner of the small diaolog box itself. Clicking it turns the disappear, or whatever you want to call it, feature off and on.

Nobody here knew that? Oh well. I hope I can be of assistance to someone else.
