Outlook error: "use scandisk to check the disk for errors"

I get this error when I try to do a scanpst on my outlook.pst.

tried all these:
- run chkdsk /f, restart, checked, no error
- run scandisk on c drive
- run scandisk with bad sector scanning, no error
- tried to make a copy of outlook.pst, data crc error

Any other suggestions?
