Outlook Error Message

Bill

I recently installed Outlook 2007 on a new 64 bit computer and transferred
other files from an older machine. Whenever I start to write an e-mail, I
get an error message saying "Fax Server Extension fxsetxt32.dll cannot be
loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Call Add-In manufacturer for update
.. . ."

Since I do not know what this is or where it originated, I cannot call
manufacturer. I do not use Outlook to send or reccieve faxes. How do I
remove this error message and not interfere with some other program?

Assuming you have Vista, with Outlook closed, open Windows Explorer and enter
this into the Address field:

%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Outlook

Click Go. Delete the file named extend.dat. Try Outlook again.
