Outlook doesn't work after Sober-AG removal

Hello!

I use Microsoft Outlook 2003 on my laptop. My Outlook doesn't work
after I removed the Sober-AG worm. When I start Outlook now, Outlook
loads for about 15 to 20 seconds, then it pops up an error message that
says that the Outlook is corrupt and that I need to reinstall it. I
have tried uninstalling it, rebooting my computer and then reinstalling
Outlook 2003 fresh. But it doesn't seem to work. I keep getting the
same error message again and again.

I do not want to reinstall Windows XP all over again, because I have a
lot of softwares installed on my laptop and I don't want to do the
rebuilding process all over again from the scratch. That's a painful
process!

I am sure there is one of you out there who knows how to solve this
problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and regards,
SG

http://www.symantec.com has instructions for the complete removal of sober
and other viruses. Ensure you follow the directions to the "t" including
resetting the registry settings.
