Outlook "disappeared" from my computer

OAM

I run MS office 2007 with VISTA.

We installed SKYPE yesterday and then discovered when we clicked on the
Outlook icon to load it, Outlook would not load - I got a dialog box which
said Outlook couldn't be found.

We uninstalled SKYPE but we still get the same error message when we try to
load Outlook. All other MS Office programs work fine.

When I clicked on the properties of the Outlook icon I got this as the path:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\OUTLOOK.EXE" /recycle
- not sure if that "recycle" has anything to do with our problem. I looked
in the recycle bin but that file is not there.

If anyone could help, that would be appreciated.f
thanks

The /recycle switch makes Outlook use an active Outlook window if one
exists, otherwise it opens a new window. If you check the C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office12 directory, does the Outlook.EXE file exist?

hello - no, it does not exist in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
12 directory - I looked twice and couldn't see it...
thanks
