Outlook Default <Names>

Strange problem.

I have a user who took over someone elses computer. We set her up as a
user. However, in outlook when she types her name into the 'from' field, it
comes out like this

New Girl Name <Old Girl Name>

It then shows up like this on the receivers e-mail. The IT guy here before
me said he never fixed it because the entire HD would have to be formatted
and everything installed from scratch. That SEEMS a bit extreme. It has
been this way for around a year, but the company is having me look at some of
these things (I am the new guy) to see if i have a different solution.

Any ideas? It is Windows XP PRO using Ofiice XP.

Thanks.

Yes it is.

So I looked at the properties for her in the global address list and there
it was, her given name and surname where the other girls (who knows why). So
I went on the exchange server and changed it in her settings, then set it to
update everyones according to their policy. I am confident this will fix the
problem.

Thanks for the push in the right direction!

So, instead of making here a new account, the admin updated the old Users
acct for the new user?

Yes it appears that way.

However, the stranger part is that the other girl just moved positions, she
did not leave the company. Which means he would have had to create a new
account for her.

?????

I don't ask questions, I just give answers (well except for here!).
