Outlook crashes when opening macros

I was attempting to open the Visual Basic editor. When trying to open
Tools-> Macros->VB editor and Tools->Macros->Macros Outlook shut down again and tried to send an error report. I am unsure as to why this happens
Also when trying to open Tools-> Customize Outlook crashes. Any help please?

try renaming the VbaProject.otm file. Outlook will create a new one the next
time you use the VBA editor.
