I had all my contacts I have been synching them with my blackberry for months
no problem I love the new outlook 2007 but I opened outlook the other day and
my email is all there, my calender is there but my contacts are all gone when
I try to sync it says it is going to delete on my handheld like in outlook so
I stop the sync where do I go what do I do other than reinstall my office and
start over to get my contacts back?

Prior to synching I presume you made a backup? Use that to restore.

I have a backup of my blackberry not of my office, I am running XP and
looking over others problems with outlook it looks like the contacts or
address book is corrupt, I went through some of the steps listed I'm
wondering do I remove the MAPI under account settings close outlook and then
restart?

after looking over some of the other topics and going through some of the
other steps listed the one I am wondering about is should I go to account
settings and remove the MAPI file and close outlook and restart? I have a
backup of my blackberry but not of my outlook that I know of this system is
running on a macbook XP does anyone have any ideas of getting the contacts
back?

If the sync process removed them, then they are permanently gone. Adding
them manually or, perhaps, by restoring your BB backup would seem your only
choices.

you could also set the blackberry sync options to take all your contacts from
your balckberry and place them in outlook with the blackberry desktop manager.

just configure sync to puch them over...
