Outlook Connector

I have Office 2003 Pro, and Outllook 2003 with Office connector installed
that manages my hotmail account along with my Verizon account. I cannot
access my hotmail account since this week: a prompt asks me to update my
Outlook Connector, but once the download is complete, there is no
installation. I am wondering if this requires me to upgrade to Office Live
2003. I do not want to upgrade, can I still access my hotmail. I also had to
update my IE to Live version. This is very inconvenient, I am surprised
people are not complaining about this corecion: either you upgrade or you
won't be able to use your Outlook connector as you used to! Didn't we
purchase the 2003 version of Outllok Connector: it should conitnue to work!!

I have experienced this same problem in Outlook 2003. I've done the upgrade
and receive a message saying Outlook Connector must now restart but it never
does so the installation never completes. I close the program and restart it
but it just tells me again that I must upgrade. ARGH! I haven't been able
to send or receive emails for a couple of weeks. I've gone online to see if
I can find a download and can't find anything. I'm at my wits end. What are
we supposed to do to get our email working?

It figures! After I throw up my hands in surrender, I find a solution. I
did another search online and found a download at Microsoft.com for Outlook
Connector. Here is the web address for anyone who needs it:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...b0-e1a4-4990-a2be-dde78fed0709&DisplayLang=en.
It's the same file that Outlook 2003 downloads but then never seems to
completely install. I just told it to Run (not Save), it walked me through
the wizard and, bada bing, my email is working now. Good luck!
