Outlook Connector - Incomplete Sync

A couple of weeks back, I had some issues with my install of Office so I
uninstalled it and Outlook Connector. After reinstalling both of these
programs and letting OC download my emails, I noticed that there were sync
errors and most of the folders were missing emails. Since I was about to
reinstall my OS I ignored this until today. I've reinstalled my OS (upgraded
to Server 2008 R2) and reinstalled Outlook 2007/Outlook Connector and let it
resynchronize. Unfortunately, I'm once again seeing numerous sync errors and
missing emails.

I've gone through these steps numerous times over the years so I'm baffled
as to why this is occurring now. I'd prefer not to have to
uninstall/reinstall OC and resync for a third time as my total mailbox size
is close to 1GB. Is there any way to force Outlook to download the missing
emails?

Thanks in advance

Diane, thank you for the suggestion. Do you think this the only way to fix
this this issue? My concern is that there are hundreds of emails that aren't
syncing and that I'd need to scan through a couple of thousand emails to find
the "corrupted" ones.

Also, any idea what could have caused so many emails to suddenly become
corrupted/malformed? As well, if they are corrputed on the server how would
moving them fix this?

Thanks again

Can you identify the missing messages? Try moving them to a new folder
online - corrupt or malformed messages can cause this.

I've just tested moving a couple of these emails to a new folder and they are
showing up as blank emails in Outlook.

Its hard to say what is causing the problems - it could be client or server
issues.

Do you have live mail installed? if so, see if the mail downloads ok into
it.
