Outlook closes when Minimized

I have Office '07 and Vista Home Premium
When I minimize Outlook is closes.
I read lots of posts where the problem was simply the icon hiding in
notification area. That is not the case with mine.
This worked at one time and now it quit.
The only change I know of is an update from MS for Defender.
Anyone have this problem and know how to fix it?

Did you click the "Show Hidden Icons" button on the notification area?

If so you might try going to Control Panel | Programs and Features, find
Outlook (or Office) and have it run a Repair installation.
